An Oxford College 1892; Jack and Charlie hatch a plan.  Charley's aunt is the ideal chaperone, and her imminent arrival is a wonderful opportunity to organise a luncheon with two gorgeous girls.  But when she fails to arrive and they coerce their friend Lord Fancourt Babberly into impersonating her it all goes slightly awry.

Brandon Thomas' farce broke all box office records when it appeared in 1892 and has been regularly revived ever since.
